EVOLUTION

The portfolio EVOLUTION grew from the work I did on the Adjacent Suburbia project. I enjoy seeing how one project evolves from another along with the thought process behind making the images. The photographs in EVOLUTION are dark, and ask questions of the viewer.
These
images are made with photographic film, pixels, ink and substrates. I capture the mysterious, magical mysteries of the
world as I see them, while traveling along an uncharted but everyday
journey. I seek out things I may not understand or want to know
more about and at the same time relate a fresh story or evoke emotion
from the viewer. Unless noted otherwise, my images are straight
photographs - although they may appear dreamlike, imaginary or terribly
manipulated, they represent a true record of what I saw at the time,
very straightforward, very real, simply what I saw when I pushed the
