This photo tells a lot - the doorway and the window were moved in the 1972 renovation by the previous owners. We had heard that the doorway was moved, but weren't really sure. The contractor says that the door does NOT have a proper header- of course this needs to be fixed- the window needs one too. The previous owner was a councilwoman in town...Hmmm...What ever happened to home inspections???
